Alan Lee and Mack Trout are two Bay Area pianists. Alan and Mack both enjoy a wide range of styles and genres. In particular they are fond of Jazz and the Great American Songbook. Separately they both have and continue to play solo piano and jazz gigs around the Bay Area. As a duo they offer a unique two piano sound. They also like to have fun with different sounds. You may hear a song where one of them plays a traditional piano sound while the other plays a vibes sound. Or another song with a string sound and a melodic instrument such as sampled flute, oboe, or Flugel Horn. All in all it makes for a very full and enjoyable effect where jazz is the guiding theme.
